In 2007, MAST completed a planning study for Thenew H.A investigating housing options for the reprovisioning of the Associations current 3 and 4 storey tenemental stock in the East End of Glasgow.

The study investigated a number of retention, partial retention with new build and complete new build options, whilst addressing issues of phasing, decanting, and integration within development proposals for the wider area.

The study was undertaken in consultation with the local Planning Authority, working closely to the City Plan design standards and with the local communities and strategy groups.
